Loved this business, we brought in our 2025 Nautilus for the protective film. The customer service was outstanding Dan was very personable and explained every detail of the process and it only took them acouple of days and they did an outstanding jo...
UFS offers the best customer experience and high-quality workmanship! Full two-stage paint correction, headlight and tail light restoration, dent repair, and full PPF wrap. They absolutely killed it! My vehicle is not their typical project. I repainted my 2005 Acura RSX a few years back. After wet sanding and buffing as best I could, I realized I was in over my head to achieve the final product I wanted. I reached out to almost 10 different shops to get quotes and talk to them about my specific situation. Dan at UFS was by far the most professional, displayed an incredible level of interest, asked me lots of questions to make sure he could meet my needs, and really set my mind at ease that UFS was the right choice. They were not the cheapest, but the price was still very reasonable, and I'm happy to pay more for higher quality services. The two stage paint correction came out amazing; Nai, the detailer really made the paint shine how I wanted. The wash and detail were great; he cleaned every nook and cranny of the exterior. I got a quarter-sized dent in my hood one week before dropping it off, and Dan, the body guy, made it disappear entirely! Shout out to Mario as well. The clear PPF wrap looks totally seamless. Because my vehicle is older, there are no templates for him to apply pre-cut panels, so he bulk applied every panel, and they came out flawless. Every team member at UFS is clearly very passionate about what they do and strive for a final product they can be truly proud of!!! There was a small hiccup at one point because my car was repainted. There was a spot where a little bit of paint lifted during the PPF application. Big kudos to Dan for immediately calling me, letting me know, and inviting me to the shop to figure out a solution we would both be happy with. Accidents happen in every industry, but there are plenty of shops that would try to avoid accountability and not do the right thing, so thank you again, Dan, for your integrity! Thank you so much for the excellent communication, the attention to detail, the professionalism, the reasonable pricing, the high-quality workmanship from all your team members, and an amazing final product!!!
Update #2 (1/14/25): Dan requested an update on my review for transparency so here it is. I took my car in for the second time on 11/29/24. The shop would’ve been closed for thanksgiving break that day but he made an exception. We walked around my car together to look at the mistakes and he explained the difference between acceptable vs. unacceptable contamination. When I came to pick up my car in the evening, it was parked inside the shop so that I could inspect it under the lights. I had even requested darker tint on the back windows and he made it happen without question. Dan followed up with me afterwards to make sure the film was curing as expected. Everything is looking great now. I’m glad they took the time to carefully install the film this time around. Very unfortunate that it was such a hassle to reach this point but things happen, and I’m satisfied with the final results regardless. It was an easy decision to give the shop a chance to rectify the situation. ————— Update #1 (10/13/24): Dan reached out after he saw my review and scheduled an appointment to fix the film the next time I would be in town. He took full responsibility and said he shouldn’t have rushed his guys to get the job done. ————— Original review (10/11/24): Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with my tint job. I scheduled my appointment one month in advanced. I live two hours away but I was visiting family in Sacramento and this place came highly rated. I was so excited to finally get ceramic tint installed. However, my experience was very disappointing. The morning of my appointment (8/31/24), I got a call asking me to come in earlier because they had a walk in customer. I happened to be free so I came in a bit early. Little did I know that they would rush my tint job and prioritize the walk in customer. I did not receive any notification when my tint job was completed so I picked up my car around closing time. I quickly paid, grabbed my keys, and left so they could close shop. They did not offer to walk me through the completed job so I was none the wiser. As soon as I got into my car to head home, I noticed the horrible liquid stains on my dash, center console, and trunk. It has been 6 weeks since the tint was applied and most bubbles have still not gone away. There is visible lint stuck under the film and a substantial scratch on the visor film. The film alignment is very inconsistent on the side windows and the cut is horribly jagged. It is difficult to catch everything on the camera but you can still see plenty imperfections that are absolutely unacceptable. I’m shocked that the film was so carelessly applied with no attention to details. I hope I am the outlier here - I would not recommend this place. I don’t want to make assumptions for why my car and service were treated this way, but the pictures will say more than I ever could.

Know Window Tint Laws in California
Before getting your windows tinted in California, it's important to understand the local regulations. Each state has specific requirements about how dark your tint can be, which windows can be tinted, and whether you need any special certifications or stickers.
