I had an amazing experience with South Tinting and Wraps! Jorge and his team were professional, friendly, and paid great attention to detail. I had them ring my BMW and also wrap the front grill in gloss black. My windows and grill look fantastic, a...
WOW what a fantastic job George and Frank has done to my car. I mean if you love your car so much and you’re very iffy about who’s on it definitely don’t worry about this company they’re very delicate at what they do. Frank, he’s an awesome dude very chill and laid-back uses a screwdriver to do his bolt on and not a damn drill. Amazing work definitely coming back soon to do my truck and they’re going to install my sound system soon. They did the car wraps and they installed my spoiler. Fair price
I had a terrible experience at South Tinting and Wraps with a ceramic coating job, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this shop. I took my car, which has a unique $2,000 paint option, to them after a recommendation from an employee at the car wash next door. This turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. When I went to make the appointment, the owner quoted me $1,300 for the entire car. I pointed out areas that needed paint correction, and he assured me that prep work was part of the process. He then asked for a $650 deposit to buy the ceramic coating products because he was “out of stock.” I found this odd but went along with it. On the day of the appointment, I clarified the services, and when I asked about coating the rims, he said it wasn’t included and would be an additional $200. I agreed. However, things quickly went downhill. The car wash they did next door before starting the coating was shockingly rushed—done in under five minutes. When I questioned it, I was told they used a “hand sponge” to speed things up. Anyone who knows ceramic coating prep understands how critical a thorough decontamination is. I was immediately concerned but decided to let them proceed. I was told the car would take a full day to complete. Instead, I received a call just three hours later saying the car was ready. When I went to check it out, it was raining. He suggested I take the car anyway, despite the rain and the coating having had only two hours to cure. I refused, concerned about ruining the job, but he insisted I pay the remaining $850 balance immediately. I paid, reluctantly, and came back the next day to pick it up. When I finally saw the car in the sunlight, I was absolutely appalled. The job was a complete disaster. The paint still had swirls and imperfections that proper correction should have addressed. The rims and barrels weren’t properly cleaned, and the tires looked unfinished. When I mentioned the tires, he claimed he “preferred the dry look.” Are you serious? To make matters worse, the ceramic coating locked in swirl marks, rain stains, and even two rough areas in the paint. These defects weren’t corrected before the coating was applied, and now they’ll be nearly impossible to fix without removing the coating entirely—a costly and unnecessary step I shouldn’t have to take. To top it off, when I went to pick up the car, Jorge—the person I dealt with—wasn’t even at the shop. Later, he called me to discuss the issues. After seeing the pictures of my car, he promised to refund the full amount I paid. He claimed to be “a man of his word” and even went so far as to call himself the best at what he does. However, I haven’t seen a dime of my money back. This only proves he is the total opposite of what he claims. The ceramic coating was supposed to enhance the appearance of my car, but it only highlighted how poorly this shop treated my vehicle. For $1,500 total, I expected a professional, meticulous job—this was far from it. I feel completely ripped off and regret ever trusting them with my car. Avoid South Window Tints and Wraps at all costs. They’re unprofessional, careless, and clearly lack the expertise for a proper ceramic coating job.
